Mica has been a member of the Texas Association of Magicians (TAOM) since the mid 70's. He has been recognized by his fellow Texas magicians by induction into the Order of Willard.
He is also a member of the Society of American Magicians (SAM) and the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM). He is a very active member in the Dallas and Fort Worth chapters of all of these organizations.
Another honor Mica has received from his fellow magicians is to be asked to perform at both the TAOM and SAM conventions. As you might imagine, performing for other magicians is both a great honor and one of the most difficult things to do.
Mica has performed for countless shows over the years. Audience sizes range from as small as 20 people to in the thousands. You might have seen Mica at Six Flags Over Texas or on the Carnival cruise ship Elation. Perhaps you saw him performing at Screams theme park. He has appeared on Television dozens of times, including several times on the local shows, Good Day and Good Morning Texas. You might also remember him on Peppermint Place. He is a regular performer at the Arlington Improv for their Family Magic Show.
Mica is a proud native Texan and grew up in the Dallas area. Except for almost seven years in the U.S. Army, Mica has lived in North Texas all his life.
You can always expect Mica's show to be family friendly. While he may do "adult magic" this does not mean it will be rude or have offensive material. It simply means that some of the magic might be more sophisticated than a ten year old may appreciate.
Mica's usual assistant is his wife Judy. They will soon be celebrating their twentieth wedding anniversary.
